Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. She is most famous for her part as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting when she was in Preparatory School. The late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed by the theater in the Chicago area for a few years, before attempting her hand at TV as well as films. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as guest stars on a few TV shows and films including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was cast in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film and other films included her. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast that will air in 2022. The romance with Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the narrative on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and the eventual end of their relationship echoing the same storyline of Walter White's last years of life.
