Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka shankar is an British and American sitar player. She also sings. She was the very first and youngest female to be awarded an award from the British House of Commons Award. Anoushka is a rising star in Indian sitar. She is Ravi Shankar's student as well as his daughter. She was born London in 1982, and her first years she split her time between London New Delhi. At the age of 13, her first show in New Delhi took place. After that, she moved to Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999.
